“Kushawati Seeds Pvt. Ltd. is a respected research organization working on rice cultivation in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, focusing on improved and hybrid varieties. Before the year 2024, a field trial of 500 RIL (Recombinant Inbred Line) lines was conducted, which included thick-grained, thin-grained, aromatic, and non-aromatic rice types. Both transplanted and direct-seeded rice (DSR) methods were developed. In the recent season, an inflorescence length of 45 cm with 360 grains was observed.
